Hi, I'm Tianyu 胡天宇
I'm so happy to see you here. It's my privilege to tell you a little bit about myself before we officially meet, which I really look forward to! I am extremely passionate about creating a great user experience, building technology products, and empowering others to succeed in their unique career paths.
What is your passion?
My Story
I consider myself lucky in many aspects - I'm healthy, I have a loving family, my dog is well-behaved... The list can go on and on, but one of them is that I enjoy what I do.

I studied Editing and Publishing at Wuhan University for undergrad, and developed my interest in User Experience early on. After a few internships in Chinese tech companies, I decided to pursue my Master's in Human-Computer Interaction in the US, specializing in Serious Game Design. After graduation, I started as a UX Designer for a company that makes educational games for kids. Fast forward almost 10 years later, I have held a variety of titles including Product Manager and Lead UX Research in US tech companies ranging from my own startup to Meta and Google.

But what I do beyond my day job sparks far more joy in me. Since 2020, I've been mentoring coworkers, family and friends, and students from USC and UCLA. I help them with resumes, portfolio site, networking & referrals, mock interview and more. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing others achieve their career goal with a little help from me sharing what I've learned throughout the years.
